Tutorial : Introduction to the JDeveloper IDE
Purpose
This tutorial provides a tour of the major components in the Oracle JDeveloper 11g IDE, and shows you how they can be used to build a basic application.
Overview
In the tutorial, you learn how to create a simple Java class. Using your new class, you then explore some of the features of the JDeveloper IDE, including Code Assist and the Debugger.
Prerequisites
Before you begin this tutorial, you should:
Have access to or have installed Oracle JDeveloper 11g Production. You can download it from Oracle Technology Network.
Launching JDeveloper 11g
1. Start JDeveloper by selecting Start > All Programs > Oracle WebLogic > JDeveloper Studio 11.1.1.0.0
